Home Dr. Asma Tabbasum

You have a beautiful life, wonderful family, a good circle of friends, a great job and all that one can ask for. You have all the qualities such as motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive outlook that can take you onto the path of success. You desire a calm, relaxed, and beautiful life for yourself and others.

Life however is all about uncertainties! We all go through peaks and valleys at times, and sometimes we find ourselves in the depths of darkness and confusion. Quite often you may have been able to move past these periodic impediments. This time, however, you seem to be finding it hard to manage or resolve the issues at hand. This may seem like one of the lowest points in your life, and you may not have anyone who can have your back or at least you can confide in so you can derive some comfort. You may think that you do not want to burden people with your problems or that they simply may not understand you. You feel disappointed, broken, lost, and alone. You think you have reached the end of the road.

Hang on a second! Isn’t this life? Life is not perfect but we have to try to work toward it. If we don’t experience the depths, how do we appreciate the peaks? When you are in the deepest of the lows, this is when you may need a little help from people like me. I can help you see things differently and also help you solve your problems. Like Albert Einstein once said, “we cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”

Mahatma Gandhi once said, “You may never know what results come of your actions, but if you do nothing, there will be no results”. The brave action you took to visit my page indicates that you are motivated to take charge of your life and experience it on your own terms. I think in every client of mine, there is a hidden motivation waiting to be regained so they can make a better tomorrow. Just like you, I too have not been spared by life’s vagaries. I want you to find solace knowing that I am here to help you by using my education, training, work experience, and, most importantly, the lessons from my own life’s experiences.

My approach in therapy is to get an understanding of your struggles, and then you and I as a team will devise a plan to help you overcome your difficulties. Along the way I will ensure that you are understood, guided, and empowered to lift you out of this low and get you back to pursuing the kind of life you dreamed about. I invite you to ask for me (Asma) to work on the issues you face.
