
Michael Peddle is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) who has been providing mental health counselling and psychotherapy services for 10 years. He obtained a Masters of Education in Counselling from Acadia University where he was supervised by Dr. Ron Lehr who was the acting president of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
Michael has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-harm, substance use, and trauma. Michael strives to create a safe space for all his clients who may feel marginalized. He has worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
He fosters connection with his clients through a collaborative and experiential therapeutic process by utilizing elements of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and an IFS informed approach. Other therapeutic approaches include elements of CBT and Solution Focused therapies. He helps people build better relationships within themselves, allowing his clients to experience hope in reaching their full potential.
Michael brings compassion, creativity, and curiosity to every session, giving his clients a therapeutic experience that is respectful and hopeful.
